Festo VZWF-B-L-M22C-G1-275-V-1P4-6
G 1" Brass 2/2 NC Assisted-Lift Diaphragm Solenoid Valve, FPM Seals, BSPP
Festo VZWF is a force pilot-operated diaphragm solenoid valve in a brass body (CW617N), normally closed, for compressed air, inert gases, water, mineral oil and neutral liquids. VZWF-B-L-M22C-G1-275-V-1P4-6 (Festo part number 1492146) is the G 1" BSPP, DN 27.5 build with FPM seals, rated to 6 bar and supplied with an integral 24 V DC solenoid and a 3-pin plug socket. The ACL E108FV25 offered here is a G 1" BSPP brass assisted-lift diaphragm valve, 2/2 normally closed, FPM sealed, with a 25 mm orifice, a flow coefficient of Kv 8.5 m3/h and a maximum of 7 bar. Three differences should be read before substituting. The Festo valve flows more: DN 27.5 and Kv 11 m3/h against the ACL's 25 mm orifice and Kv 8.5 m3/h, so the ACL is not a like-for-like swap where the full rated flow is designed in. Both valves are listed at a minimum differential pressure of 0 bar, but the Festo is force pilot-operated and lifts its diaphragm directly, whereas ACL specifies that a differential pressure of at least 0.15 bar is needed for the ACL's diaphragm to open completely; on a gravity-fed or near-zero-head line the ACL will open but will not pass its full rated flow. And the Festo order code includes its integral 24 V DC solenoid, whereas the ACL valve is supplied as a valve body with a Series 5 coil ordered separately; ACL rates this code at 7 bar with an AC coil and publishes a separate code for DC operation. In the ACL's favour, it is rated to 7 bar against the Festo's 6 bar, and its FPM build is rated for fluid to +140 C where Festo rates the medium to +80 C and the ambient to only +35 C.
