Technical overview
Mitutoyo 293-340-30 / MDC-1" PX is an IP65 coolant proof Digimatic outside micrometer for accurate outside diameter measurement in the presence of coolant or cutting oil. It covers 0 to 25 mm / 0 to 1 inch with 0.001 mm / 0.00005 inch digital step and uses carbide-tipped micro-lap measuring faces, a spindle lock, satin chrome thimble and sleeve, and a heat-shielded frame for stable hand measurement. The LCD display, ABS/INC function, ratchet stop and 5 to 10 N measuring force make it suitable for precision shaft, pin, thickness and machined component inspection in workshop QC and tool rooms.
