Technical overview
The Janatics DS3 Series is designed for direct NAMUR mounting on pneumatic actuators used in process-valve automation. This 3/2-way normally open valve combines a pilot-operated spool with a single 24 V DC solenoid rated at 5 W and spring return. The valve has G 1/4" connections, 1400 L/min nominal inlet-to-outlet flow and a 2 to 10 bar working pressure range. The 24 V DC solenoid coil is supplied with a PG9 connector for wiring and installation. A push-and-turn locking manual override and IP65 coil protection help with commissioning, while the NAMUR interface mounts directly on the actuator. It is intended for dry, filtered compressed air in process-valve actuation, packaging equipment and general industrial automation.
