Technical overview
The Janatics DS2 Series provides compact directional control for pneumatic cylinders and actuators used in automated machinery. This 3/2-way normally closed valve combines a pilot-operated spool with a single 220 V AC solenoid rated at 6 VA and spring return. The valve has G 1/2" connections, 3500 L/min nominal inlet-to-outlet flow and a 2 to 10 bar working pressure range. The 220 V AC solenoid coil is supplied with a PG9 connector for wiring and installation. A push-and-turn locking manual override and IP65 coil protection help with commissioning, and the valve can be mounted individually or on a manifold. It is intended for dry, filtered compressed air in packaging, assembly, material-handling and general actuator-control systems.
