Description

General Instruments pressure gauge Model SPGS-V is designed for reliable local pressure indication in demanding industrial service. The gauge uses a 2.5" / 63 mm dial with a 1/4" Male NPT lower connection for direct process installation. Stainless Steel Made, with glass window, SS316 wetted parts and a dry case prepared for filling where vibration or dynamic pressure conditions require liquid filling. Measuring range is 0...6000 psi with 2nd scale bar, accuracy class is Class 1.6, and the compact design is suitable for hydraulic lines, pneumatic systems, pump skids, compressor systems and general process duties.

Wika model 232.54 is the dry-case version of Wika's all-stainless Bourdon tube pressure gauge (233.54 is the liquid-filled version), and .063 denotes the 63 mm / 2½” nominal size. In this size it uses a 304 stainless steel case with a polished removable bayonet ring, a laminated safety glass window, a 316L stainless steel Bourdon tube and a 316 stainless steel pressure connection, and it is offered with a 1/4" NPT lower-mount connection and a bar second scale. 0/6000 psi is a catalogued scale range for this model in the 2½” order code, but it is not one of Wika's 2½” stock articles, so it is a configured build rather than an off-the-shelf item. Wika quotes accuracy at 2½” as ASME B40.100 Grade A, ±2% / ±1% / ±2% of span, which its own data sheet pairs with EN 837-1 Class 1.6 at this nominal size; ±1.0% of full scale is available as an option. Note that 232.54.063 fixes the model and dial size only: range, process connection, mounting position and second scale are separate positions in Wika's order code and must be specified when ordering.

Nuova Fima MGS18 DN63

Nuova Fima MGS18 DN63 is an all-stainless Bourdon tube pressure gauge with a 63 mm (2½") dial, built to EN 837-1 at accuracy Class 1.6, with an AISI 316L stainless steel Bourdon tube and socket and a stainless steel case. Nuova Fima's published range list for this model and size includes 0-6000 psi, including the version with psi on the outer scale and bar on the inner scale, and 1/4-18 NPT is offered on the lower connection. Nuova Fima quotes working pressure for the MGS18 as 75% of full scale value for static pressure and 66% for pulsating pressure; the gauge listed here is built to the same EN 837-1 standard and is specified with 125% FSD over range. Three points a buyer should note before cross-ordering. First, the MGS18 is catalogued in three case variants - standard, fillable and filled - and it is the fillable variant that corresponds to the dry, prepared-for-filling case of the gauge listed here. On the fillable variant the ring is stainless steel, crimped, and the pointer is not adjustable; the bayonet-lock ring and the adjustable pointer belong to the standard, non-fillable model. Second, the standard MGS18 window is polycarbonate. Tempered glass, option T37, is the only glass window Nuova Fima lists against the fillable variant - safety glass, option T32, is catalogued against the standard model only - and Nuova Fima notes that the tempered-glass option carries safety code S1 to EN 837-1, where the fillable model is otherwise S2. The gauge listed here has a clear glass window as standard and a neoprene blow-out disc on top of the case. Third, MGS18 DN63 is a model and size designation: the case variant, range, process connection, mounting position and window are separate positions in Nuova Fima's ordering sequence and must be specified when ordering.
