Technical overview
Omron NX-SID800 is an 8-point safety digital input unit for NX safety I/O systems, designed to bring safety device signals into a Sysmac safety architecture. It accepts PNP safety input circuits and is built for SIL 3 and PLe/category 4 safety applications when used in an approved safety system. The module is compatible with NX safety control units, EtherCAT/FSoE safety networks and Omron machine controllers, making it suitable for emergency stop buttons, guard switches, safety gates, light curtains and other machine protection devices.
