Technical overview
Omron NX-ECC203 is a dual-port EtherCAT slave coupler for NX-series I/O systems, used where a machine controller needs reliable remote I/O expansion over EtherCAT. It can connect up to 63 NX units per node and supplies a high-capacity NX I/O bus current for modular input, output, safety and special function units. The coupler is compatible with Omron NX I/O units, Sysmac controllers and EtherCAT network architectures, making it useful for distributed machine panels, compact junction boxes, packaging equipment and production lines that need high-speed I/O close to the field devices.
