Description
The Festo DSBC Series is an ISO 15552 profile pneumatic cylinder for controlled linear movement in automation systems, handling equipment and machine frames where a robust compressed-air actuator is required. This double acting linear pneumatic actuator uses a 40 mm piston diameter and 250 mm stroke, with a G1/4 pneumatic connection, M12 × 1.25 male piston-rod thread, single-ended piston rod and proximity-switch position detection. The cylinder is built with a profile barrel design, smooth-anodised aluminium cylinder barrel, coated die-cast aluminium covers, high-alloy steel piston rod and self-adjusting pneumatic end-position cushioning for smoother operation at both ends. It is suitable for general machine automation, material handling, clamping, pushing, positioning and compressed-air actuator applications requiring an ISO profile cylinder.
