Technical overview
WIKA TR53 item 14871713 is an ATEX Ex i bayonet resistance thermometer designed for temperature measurement in industrial machinery and equipment. It uses a single 3-wire Pt100 Class B measuring element according to IEC 60751 with a measuring range of -50 to +250 °C. The sensor has an 8 mm diameter round 316Ti tip, straight stainless steel 1.4571 sheath and adjustable spring-loaded bayonet connection with a nickel-plated brass nominal size 14 mm double-slot cap. A 1000 mm PTFE/PFA insulated cable with stripped leads provides the electrical connection. The TR53 design is suited to applications including plastics machinery, injection moulding equipment, bearings, engines, pipelines and vessels.
