Technical overview
Saginomiya VKV40 61 / VKVDC12V is an electronic expansion valve assembly used to meter and regulate refrigerant flow in air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pump and chiller equipment. The valve operates through a magnet-needle and screw mechanism driven by electrical pulse signals from the surrounding stepper-motor coil, allowing accurate opening control from 0 to 480 pulses without holding power. It supports a 4.0 mm orifice, (12.7 mm) 1/2" solder connections, 45 bar maximum working pressure, 25 bar maximum operating pressure differential, 3 bar maximum reverse pressure and bi-flow operation for common refrigerants such as R22, R134a, R404A, R407C and R410A. The matching 12 VDC coil data supports 0.38 A per phase, IP66 enclosure protection and Class E insulation for reliable actuation in refrigeration control circuits.
