Technical overview
Mitutoyo 547-401A is a high accuracy ABSOLUTE Digimatic thickness gauge designed for fast and precise thickness measurement of film, paper, foil, plastic sheet, thin metal and small components. It provides a 0 to 12 mm measuring range with 0.001 mm resolution and ±3 µm accuracy. The gauge uses 6.3 mm flat carbide-tipped contact and anvil surfaces with parallelism of 3 µm or less for repeatable contact measurement. Its 21 mm measuring depth and measuring force of 3.5 N or less make it suitable for quality inspection, laboratory measurement and production checking of thin materials. The ABSOLUTE Digimatic indicator provides a clear digital reading and Digimatic data output for compatible Mitutoyo data collection systems.
