Technical overview
Allen-Bradley 42GRU-9000 is a Series 9000 PHOTOSWITCH retroreflective photoelectric sensor used for non-contact object presence detection in conveyors, packaging machines, material handling lines and industrial automation systems. The sensor uses a visible red 660 nm beam with manual sensitivity adjustment, light/dark switching, 2 ms response time and a maximum switching distance up to 9.1 m when used with a suitable reflector. Its 10 to 30 V DC supply, PNP/NPN transistor output, 2 m cable, plastic housing and IP67/NEMA 13 rated construction make it suitable for replacement and maintenance of Allen-Bradley retroreflective sensor points.
