Description

RIV 290 Ambra is a vacuum relief valve designed to protect tanks from excessive vacuum by allowing air intake when negative pressure occurs. It has a 1-1/2" ISO 228/1 (BSPP) threaded inlet and vents to atmosphere under a protective cap. Safety features include a mechanical stop that controls maximum opening, a second stop that prevents loosening from vibration and keeps a minimum calibration of about -0.3 bar (-4 psi), and an obturator design that helps prevent internal parts from falling into the equipment.

Features

  • Protects tanks by relieving excessive vacuum through controlled air admission.
  • Uses a 1-1/2" ISO 228/1 (BSPP) threaded inlet for direct installation.
  • Limits maximum opening using a mechanical stop for safer operation.
  • Prevents loosening from vibration and maintains about -0.3 bar (-4 psi) minimum calibration.
  • Uses an obturator design that helps prevent internal parts from falling into the equipment.
  • Allows tamper-proof sealing after setting using drilled tongues on the cap.
  • Made in Itlay.
