ASCO builds this as a combined 3/2 normally closed and 5/2 valve: the NAMUR interface plate is fitted for the function the actuator needs, so this one catalogue number covers the 5/2 duty. Points to check before ordering. Rated flow is 700 l/min on the ASCO against 1400 l/min on the Janatics; ASCO publishes its figure at 6 bar without stating the pressure drop it is measured at, while Janatics publishes 1400 l/min at 6 bar inlet with a 1 bar drop, so confirm stroke time on the actuator rather than treating the two numbers as directly comparable. Exhaust ports 3 and 5 are G 1/8 on the ASCO against G 1/4 on the Janatics, so silencers, exhaust throttles and exhaust protectors do not carry across. The manual operator is a screw type on the ASCO where the Janatics is push and lock. The 24 V DC coil draws 2.5 W hot and 3 W cold on the ASCO against 5 W on the Janatics. The ASCO is rated -25 to +60 degrees C against 5 to 60 degrees C for the Janatics.
