Description

The BMETERS IWM-MB4 is a wired M-BUS communication module with 1.5 meter cable, developed for remote reading of pre-equipped BMETERS WDE-K50 Woltmann water meters through an inductive interface. It communicates via MBUS EN13757-2/3 protocol, offers IP68 protection, and includes NFC support for configuration and commissioning through a compatible smartphone app. The module supports consumption data and alarms, while supporting reverse flow compensation, leakage detection, discharged battery indication, module removal alarm and magnetic tampering detection for dependable smart metering integration. The module is supplied with a compact IP68 sealed housing for harsh environments and a non-replaceable rechargeable lithium battery for BUS-backed operation, the housing material itself is not specified in the manufacturer datasheet.
