ASCO Series 238 equivalent - 2/2 normally closed, pilot-operated brass solenoid valve with built-in pilot and floating diaphragm, G 3/4 BSPP, FPM seals, quoted against the 230 V 50/60 Hz build. Flow differs and should be checked before substituting: the ASCO part has a 20 mm orifice and Kv 6.6 m3/h, while this valve has an 18 mm orifice and Kv 5.5 m3/h, roughly 17% less flow. ASCO does not offer an 18 mm size in this series. This valve is rated to 13 bar against the ASCO part's 10 bar and opens from 0.15 bar differential against 0.3 bar. The ASCO catalogue number includes a coil; this valve is supplied without one, so a coil should be selected separately.
