Description
The WIKA R5502 bimetal thermometer is a robust process instrument for accurate local temperature indication in demanding industrial service. Built in accordance with EN 13190 and designed for harsh and aggressive environments, it offers an all-stainless-steel construction suitable for chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, energy, and water or wastewater applications. This version features a 0 ... 200 °C dual-scale dial, 4" dial size, 1/2" Male NPT bottom connection, and 80 mm stem length, making it a dependable fixed-stem thermometer for standard bottom-mounted temperature measurement points.
Note: The pointer reading seen in the product images is because the bimetal thermometer begins indicating temperature as soon as the stem is exposed to its surroundings. Therefore, a reading above zero is normal even for a new/unused product. This also confirms that the thermometer is functioning properly.
